Creativity, integrity and determination
are three words that I identify with.
I am a design enthusiast with a passion for people. Creating environments that are desirable to live, work, and play in while simultaneously improving the quality of life is what I strive for. I believe that interior designers take on the unique role of not only protecting the health, safety and welfare of the public, but also ensuring a sense of value in every human being, regardless of status. Good design can not only renovate and improve function; it can inspire and push the inhabitants to strive for something bigger than themselves.
This past May, I graduated from the CIDA Accredited Interior Design Program at Kansas State University. Currently, I am living in Oxford, England working as an intern for Engineering Ministries International (eMi). eMi is a non-profit ministry that exists with the purpose of designing a world of hope for the physically and spiritually poor. This opportunity perfectly unites my drive for design rooted in my passion for people. Take a look at my blog for the most current thoughts and findings.
Outside of design, my passions include ballet, outdoor adventures, local discoveries and laughter.
